“Marriage of Maharana Udai Singh”
The chiefs sent a call from Akhairaj Songara Chauhan of Jalore to Marwar. Everyone told Akhairaj Chauhan that you should marry your daughter to Maharana Udai Singh, so that everyone will gladly accept that Maharana Udai Singh is the real Maharana. Akhairaj Chauhan said that “We will be benefited in every way with this proposal, but Banveer has made famous the murder of Kunwar Udai Singh with his own hands, so if you all eat left over food of Maharana Udai Singh, then i will also will not longer have doubt”.
All the warriors ate Maharana Udai Singh’s left over food and Akhairaj Chauhan married his daughter Jaywanta Bai to Maharana Udai Singh.
1540 – “Battle of Mavli”
This war took place between Maharana Udai Singh and Banveer’s army. Banveer himself sat in Chittor and sent his army to fight Maharana Udai Singh under the leadership of Kunwar Singh Tanwar. This war happened at a place called Mavli.
“Chiefs and associates of Maharana Udai Singh, who participated in this war”
* Rao Kumpa Rathore :- Rao Kumpa was the grandson of Rao Jodha’s elder brother and the son of Rao Mehraj. He is the main ancestor of the Kumpawat Rathore Rajputs.
* Rao Jaita Rathore :- He was the son of Panchayan Rathore. He is the main ancestor of Jaitawat Rathore Rajputs.
(Rao Maldev Rathore, the ruler of Marwar, sent an army under the leadership of Rao Jaita Rathore and Rao Kumpa Rathore to help Maharana Udai Singh. Rao Maldev sent a total of 4000 troops)
* Rana Akhairajot :- He was included in the army of Marwar.
* Bhadda Kanha Panchaynot :- He was included in the army of Marwar.
* Rajsi Bhairavdasot :- He was also included in the Marwari army led by Rao Kumpa.
* Akhairaj Sonagara Chauhan of Jalore :- He was the maternal grandfather of Maharana Udai Singh, father of Maharani Jaivanta Bai and maternal grandfather of Maharana Pratap.
* Kunwar Aaskaran of Dungarpur :- Rawal Samant Singh of Mewar had settled in Vagad. In the lineage of Rawal Samant Singh, Rawal Prithviraj was born, the 18th ruler of Dungarpur. Rawal Prithviraj sent his son Kunwar Aaskaran along with the army to assist Maharana Udai Singh.
* Rawal Jagmal of Banswara :- Dungarpur Rawal Udai Singh’s younger brother Jagmal was made the ruler of Banswara. Hence Rawal Jagmal was the first ruler of Banswara.
* Rao Sultan Hada of Bundi :- He was the descendant of Rao Deva Hada, the founder of Bundi. Rao Sultan was the 9th Rao Sahab of Bundi. He is also known as Rao Surtan. In the Maharana Pratap serial, Rao Surtan was portrayed in a very wrong character. In fact Rao Sultan Hada was the father in law of Maharana Pratap. Maharana Pratap was married to Shahmati Bai Hada, daughter of Rao Sultan.
* Rawat Raisingh Sisodiya of Pratapgarh :- Kshemkaran, the brother of Maharana Kumbha, established his rule in Kanthal. Among his dynasty was Rawat Raisingh, the fourth Rawat sahib of Pratapgarh. Rawat Raisingh’s father was the famous Rawat Bagh Singh, who got martyred while representing Maharana in the second Saka of Chittorgarh.
(Saka :- a custom, in which rajput women perform jauhar by jumping in fire and rajput men fight until their last breathe. In saka, rajput men have only two options :- win or die.)
* Rao Bharamal Rathore of Idar :- Soning Rathore, son of Rao Siha, founder of Rathore dynasty of Marwar, became the first Rao Sahab of Idar. Rao Bharmal Rathore became the 15th Rao Sahab of Idar in the dynasty of Soning Rathore.
* Rawat Khan Purviya Chauhan of Kothariya, Rawat Saindas Chundawat of Salumbar, Rawat Jagga Chundawat of Kelwa, Rawat Sanga Chundawat of Bagore, Rao Akhairaj Panwar
* Dodia Thakur Sanda :- In the time of Maharana Lakha, Dodiya Thakur Dhawal was given the lava as estate. In his lineage, Thakur Sanda was the 7th Thakur Saheb of Lava. His father Dodiya Thakur Bhan got martyred in the second Saka of Chittorgarh.
“Banveer’s Companions”
Banveer did not have an army of daasiputra (son of maid). The names of the Rajputs included in his army are as follows :-
* Rama Solanki :- He got the estate of Maholi
* Malla Solanki :- He got the estate of Tana. Malla Solanki ran away and went to Tana.
* Kunwar Singh Tanwar :- He was killed in this battle. He was the one who led this war by order of Banveer who was sitting in Chittor.
18-year-old Maharana Udai Singh got victory in this battle of Mavli.

“Birth of Kunwar Pratap”
* In the same year, where Maharana Udai Singh defeated Banveer’s army in Maavli, on the other hand, in this auspicious moment, “Maharajkumar Pratap Singh” who was a symbol of Rajput gallantry, diligence and valour was born from the womb of Queen Jaiwanta Bai in Kumbhalgarh fort.
“Birth of Kunwar Shakti Singh”
A few months later, the second queen of Maharana Udai Singh ji, Sajja Bai Solankini, gave birth to Kunwar Shakti Singh. Queen Sajjabai was daughter of Rao Prithviraj Solanki of Toda.
